Anyone else from PH competing or spectating?

I'm running car 6 in my M3 Compact. Got a 6th place overall and 1st 2wd last year. Pop over and say Hi if you're around!

Unfortunately I won't be there on Sunday but the stages look interesting. So have a good and safe rally.

How did you get on, chap?

Was watching for 7 stages I think then called it a day and went home to the dry and warm, full credit to all divers and mechanics in those conditions!

According to the results they had a prop shaft bearing go on stage 9. Stage 8 they had been running 14th

First time out in the car in the rain. Fair to say the set up was all wrong. Couldn't stop the fronts from locking, so was losing so much time in the braking areas. We were running in 9th but the vibration through the car that had been there from SS1 got worse and eventually in SS8 the prop shaft made a bid for freedom. It was battering against the tunnel and I just put it in 5th and got slowly her back to service (hence the drop to 14th). The spare prop shaft was back home, so that was it for the day.

We need to spend lots of time on the set up as this exposed a lot that you don't worry about on dry tarmac. Wasn't happy with my driving at all, but the conditions meant that I had no confidence in being able to stop the car - I nosed into tyre walls twice yesterday.

We'll be back.
