i've been a fan of the junghans max bill chronoscope for a few years now, however the colour schemes have never really sold me.

however i've just seen this one - anthracite with tan - which is apparently new for 2015. i just can't find it listed anywhere for sale!

any ideas? [the one i was is Ref. Nr. 027/4501.00]. UK or EU is ok, cheaper the better but dealer must be able to ship outside the EU.

I don't see the chrono version on their site yet, but might be worth asking them as they seem to have a good range of Junghans pieces:

is plexi really that bad? can it be replaced with crystal?

did a bit more searching last night and it isn't released until may, might explain why i can't find on for sale!

I like plexi, have three watches with it. Scratches easier but can also be polished out.

These are coated plexi so not as easy to polish, I fear I'm just too clumsy to risk it... Saw one in a shop today though and it did look nice.

Good grief that is one lovely watch cloud9

I hadn't realised that they came in such a colour.

Incidentally, these always remind me of PH'er CommanderJameson - where did he go? He was a one of the good guys.
