Washer bottle and pump - where to buy ?

My windscreen washer pump has failed - got 12v at the pump but it doesnt run. tvr-parts.com have it for £55.94 inc shipping but the one they sell has what they describe as an amp connector which doesnt look like the two spade connectors on my pump so I would need to buy an adapter as well.

Anyone had to buy a new bottle and give me a clue what to look for somewhere cheaper ? Or can the motor be replaced - according to the chimaera pages is a cortina mkv pump so maybe I can just replace it .

ETA on ebay there are lots of 'universal' bottles with pumps that say they fit TVRs for only about £7 , tempted to just take a go on one at that price.

I recently had a washer pump failure and red just the pump from TVR parts for around £20 plus delivery etc

Easy to change , no need for a new bottle. You may have to prime the new pump by letting the pump run with water before re connecting the tubes to it.

As it happens I found the right bottle with pump for £8.05 on ebay with free shipping, at that price its worth a go. If the new bottle doesnt fit I can just swap the pump over :-)
