Mambo L7 Cub seat?

I'm looking at getting some replacement seats for my MX5, with a bit more lateral support. It's not a big cabin so replacements need to be compact. I've come across these Mambo L7 Cub seats through a few kit-car parts suppliers, and was wondering if anyone has any personal experience of them in terms of comfort and support?

you may have seen them advertized at kitcar dealers, specalized into GBS/RobinbHood parts

those seats are not expensive..i would say "cheap"...and thats also to say about the quality.

in most (sevenish) kitcars those seats are embedded between centre-tunnel, outer chassis rails and rear bulkhead...which results in a extra support from 3 directions.

i dont know if its a good idea using them in a MX5, where those seats are mounted freestanding.
