Classifieds - Why oh why?!

Dear PH people,

Why oh why do you insist on making the classifieds such hard work to use as someone looking for cars?

If you really insist on having some huge banner above the classifieds search bar here:



I do understand it. I don't like it, nor do I agree with the decision, but fine - that is your call.

Please however keep that space above the search box a constant size as opposed to it opening up as this:



Then just as you go to click on the car drop down the whole page shifts down a bunch to accommodate the advert. The result of this, because of your ingenious spacing, is that you then end up on the Motorcycle search page instead.

Why not make life easier for your customers?

I do of course understand that as a customer searching for cars you're not paying anything to browse the classifieds and that if you don't pay for something, you're the product. However if you make people's experience a happy one, they'll feel the love for you and recommend your service. I won't at the moment as it's so frustrating.

So, as I said, please improve the customer experience with small changes that make big differences to the end user.

Thanks for raising. We've put this issue into our next tech sprint release, so that a standard ad size is set, which will stop the moving of the page you've been experiencing. Will update you when released.
