S3 Boot carpets

Hi Guys. I recently bought a full carpet set from a destroyed V8 which included the boot carpets. Does anyone know if the S3 and V8 boot is fundamentally different? I can see where most of them go but around the nearside rear wheel arch it's a bit of a puzzle, and I'm not good at jigsaws.
As an alternative if anyone has a pattern and has made the boot set in the past, is this difficult? and could I use my wife's sewing machine to sew on the edging?
I'd be grateful of any help.

V8S has the battery in the boot, but on the offside. That's the only difference I can think of.
