WTF - can't receive emails.

Ok, this is odd. Laptop updated last night. Now I can not receive emails. They appear on the on-line server but when I do a send/receive on the laptop into Outlook, it deletes them from the server but doesn't bother putting them on my laptop.... I know it is my laptop because the same email account can be set up on another laptop (and was this morning) and it works.

F***ng windows 8 and potentially McAfee issue?

Have you checked the default delivery location for emails? It might created a new PST

Thanks, that is an interesting option. I did a google search on my ISP and it said perhaps a firewall is interfering. It appears that was correct, because I've now uninstalled McAfee (which came with the laptop but the 30 day thing expired) and it all works fine. Three hours of my morning wasted frankly. I've also lost emails it seems.

Are you using imap, pop3 or activesync?
