Tyre fitting! Guildford area

Hi all,

Does anyone know a friendly tyre garage that fits tyres around the Guildford area? I have phoned countless places round here and some won't even touch tyres they don't buy in and others quote 15 a wheel plus vat which is ridiculous for 10 minutes work and the price of balance weights. It seems mail order tyre companies have once killed off the fiver in the back pocket tyre fitting I used to do a few years back! I only need some semi slicks fitting to brand new rims that haven't even seen a car yet.

Have you tried Guildford Tyre Company? A mate recently had them fit some new tyres on his Elise that he sourced elsewhere.

Trade tyres just next to the dump on slyfield. Did mine xmas eve no probs!

Martin's in West End always fit mine, price varies depending on mood but normally £20 for 4, a bit more if there's disposal of old tyres

Yep, Martins are my usual choice- they were shut xmas Eve afternoon when I needed new boots for the twingo 133. I had 2 new tyres done last week for £20 there - these were 19" diamond cut on the Meg if it makes a difference. Very fast too.
