It doesn't look like anybody has started a 2015 warm sunshine and BBQ thread yet. Therefore, with current temperatures barely scraping into double figures (even in London) I think we should start proceedings by predicting when it will be warm enough to get the barbecue out again.

I think that the second week after Easter will see temperatures increase sufficiently to warrant getting the barbecue out again.

I plan to get the BBQ out next weekend looking at the current forecast.

I really fancy getting a smoker this year which will require long days of nice weather.

Oh no - this thread doesn't normally get opened until 20oC is forecast. Winter was jinxed by the snow thread being opened early and now this!

On that note - buffalo ribs on the BBQ today wink

Edited - it's ok, 20 is forecast, see below

Yer brilliant, as soon as it's nice outside, ruin it for all your neighbours with the stench of burning fat/gas/paraffin and drive them indoors with all the windows shut. At least there is comfort in knowing you are all going to die of colon cancer. (note the lack of smiley).

Not really a problem for me, as my nearest neighbour is about half a mile away.

You're a proper laugh. Bet your neighbours love you.

I thought I'd attempt a BBQ last weekend. Uncovered it from its winter hibernation, lifted the lid, barfed at the science experiment landscape, shut the lid and went back inside.

Note to self: next year clean the BBQ before putting it away.

I'm a hot chick!

(Actually not, but was with a few Norwegian hot chicks, but they were a bit less adventurous. This is us "bird watching" on the way up, some sea eagles came in for a closer look.)

We had a small BBQ yesterday in Thame, was very nice! I drank 7 cans of Strongbow Citrus Edge and ended up with a banging headache though...

Very nice today too, I left my coat in the car when I got to work and havent been dissapointed yet...

23 degrees in the garden according to the thermometer on sunday in the shade too. Certainly felt it.

gas bbq with steaks yesterday although was a bit cooler. My almost 3 year old ate almost a full fillet. Quite proud and he even tired some mustard with hilarious results.

Near between durham and the coast for reference.

Woohoo! Took the cover off the Outback today and because I gave it a good clean in November after using it to cook 400 sausages for Guy Fawkes party it only needed a quick wipe down today.

Easter style lamb steaks tonight yum

Good weather peaks on Friday - afraid the weekend will be disappointing in comparison. I'm taking the high pressure down to the Algarve with me on Saturday tongue out
