Personal Plates and such
Discussion
So plates came in. DMV opened at 9. Got there at 8:30AM and was number 83 in line. Took 2 hours to get in the door. Walked away with my new plates at 1:15PM.
Anyway thought we might start a thread of personal plates?
A little humble pie - sitting in waiting room the other day and the secretaries see the car outside the window. After some discussion they decide it's a Ford Tbird because of the wings on the hood. They ask if it's mine and I say "Yes, it's an Aston Martin" They reply "Oh, who makes that?"

Ok, so what does it mean? It has gone over me head.
It was lost on me as well, but like a crossword clue, by Jove, I think I have got it.
Is Au the chemical periodic table symbol for gold?
So Gold Eye.
George would probably say that is not very precise, but if you happen to think of the letters EN,
then you get the film title Golden Eye (Aston Martin DB5).
