Taimar/3000M manifolds
Discussion
are the manifolds removed from engine from under the car, or can they be removed from above?
mine being a restoration job, the body was off when I got it so cannot remember what room there was in the engine bay.
does the starter motor need to be removed to remove the nearside manifold as well, I would assume this is the case?

From memory when I had mine off it was a case of unbolt manifold and starter and sort of lift out together? Don't think one comes out without the other................. of course I could be totally wrong, no doubt someone who's had more TVR's than I've had hot dinners will be along soon to clarify

The original manifold is woeful in terms of strangling the engine.
If your making new are you doing a better layout?
I know you work with stainless, what grade are you considering? It's a pretty tough call for most commercial grades.

Copy the original TVR design, and you will limit the engines ultimate power. Have a system like GAjon (and others) or TVRMs then you will release more ponies
definitely not along the standard lines, with what I`ve got in the lump its going to need to breeth, it will be a whole new system front to back, its the usual case of calculating pipe diameter and length required and then seeing how it can be packaged in the engine bay, at least the v6 goes down the sides unlike the griff and chim v8s going forward
I`ve done a few before, https://www.facebook.com/clivefppa
these were done recently for a Vixen.

I hope you are referring to using software. Best regards,
Bernard.
You may have seen this before its the Tony Law layout on mine, you can take it off in bits without removing the starter motor, still a sod of a job though.
May be of use to your plan?

that said it was never as quick as an Impreza in a corner!! (not that stopped him trying!!!)
Your only counting going forward though! The biggest gain I got from this set up (and this wasn't on the GA engine which came later) was low down and mid range responsiveness.
The car became a pleasure to drive again like a standard V6.
