Lovely Lotus Carlton going eastbound on A45 past Queen Eleanor junction yesterday
VBOA Billing. It was the Autobahnstormers Club Lotus Carlton 25th Anniversary celebration.I missed it this year, because I've recently sold mine. It was the King of the A45!

Frequently see a BMW i8 heading East on the A605 between Thrapston and Oundle...
White with a private plate? Can't imagine there's many around Corby, but there's one I've seen a few times on the way home on the A6116.SpudLink said:
I'm standing on the forecourt of Europcar in Nirtgampton, and have just seen a convoy of about six Escort Cosworths. I also spotted one one the way here.
Presumably spiritof'76 and his friends on their way to have breakfast at Buddies before heading to Cosworth for a factory tour. You have to wonder what goes through people's minds when they park up... I assume the German arrived early and put his towel down on two sun beds at the pool. Why would the TT owner reverse park and then get out of the passenger seat? If he wanted to teach the German a lesson, he should have just put it in forwards... Anyway, we digress

Saw my first Zenos driving through Thornby yesterday, looked really smart!
Was it Black/Orange and being driven by a bloke in a white/red crash helmet? If so.... it might have been me. Are you pleased with it?

About 11.00 in Thornby. I didn't notice the driver was shocked to see my first Zenos! Looks better in the flesh than some of the photo's I've seen.
Are you pleased with it?
Yes, very much so. It's not perfect, but no car is. Are you pleased with it?
On the road it's very easy to go very quickly. The car feels like it's been engineered for 300bhp or more. That could be the excess of grip from the Avon ZZR tyres. I need to get it on track to really make my mind up.
Driving without a windscreen is a novel experience. The wind deflector is less effective than I'd hoped, but wearing a crash helmet adds to the road-racer feeling.
The unassisted steering is fine, but unservod brakes take a little getting used to.
I will probably do a write up in the Reader's Cars forum in the near future.
