Can anyone tell me which make of brake master cylinder this is & what car's were they originally fitted to. The master cylinder is OK, it's the cap that's knackered as one of the electrical connection's has snapped off

Hi Frank.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated, had thought it might of been from a Triumph but wasn't sure.

A call to Adrian on the cards.

Cheers mate.

Ron I have the same cylinder and reservoir, with the same problem of the tab snapping. If you manage to solve this can you post on here how you achieved it. I have googled and rang every ford supplier online and no luck.

I've changed the MC on mine a good few years back (not the reservoir or cap), got it from a co in the south, but can't for the life of me, remember their name ! (age and all that biggrin )They might be able to supply reservoirs or caps)
I'll have a root around in the invoices file for the car tonight, see if I can come up with something....

Right, haven't got the supplier, couldn't find it........

However, did find that a lid from a Griff/Chim does fit, this one;

you obviously need a connector for it, this one;
