Well after last series I wasn't expecting much.

Ch4 seem keen to not over deliver at least they are honest about four folks filming it being proper camera guys.

Three folks wanting to quit after the first four days seems like they didn't bother sorting people's heads out during the selection process.

Did none of them watch the last series? Or when they knew they would be on the show go and watch the last one for tips.

It took them nearly 4 days to start building a shelter in part of the world that has a tropical season!? Useless people!

That old bloke was a tt.

They've obviously given up any pretence of it being a legitimate 'survival experiment' in favour of going for outright 'reality TV clash of personalities' that generates drama.

Both 'builders' are idiots. The older one is a grumpy, selfish git and the younger one is a showboater and bully. And the the third person who wants to leave is obviously a bit of a prat.

Frankly, they'd be better off without all three (It's not clear that any building skills would transfer to making primitive shelters anyway and the other guy doesn't seem to have any useful skills) but I suspect at most, only one will actually carry out their threat to walk. In any case, the producers will have wanted to make sure that the clashing personalities hang around for as long as possible to create tension and drama so the idiots will be kept on board.

Is nobody watching the women on the island? Much more entertaining than the men last night.

Women in real peril, strong group has the beach but can't find the others. Others in emotional crisis without food water fire or leadership.

Plus the screaming... dear god... the screaming.

I had to turn down the TV.

It's annoying on these types of shows when people are wanting to leave after 48hrs. Surely they would have quite a good idea of what it is that they are applying for. Or I wonder if some just see "6 weeks on an island with a beach" and don't read past that.

I couldn't understand why they decided they couldn't build a shelter because the two builders were having a tiff. Was no one else capable of a relatively simple task?

I'm not sure if this is just me or not but had I have known that I was selected to spend six weeks on a remote island with only my own farts for comfort I'd have done any number of the following:

1. Re-watched Series 1
2. Read at least one of Bear's survival guide books (other books are available)
3. Recognised immediately that finding dry shelter, a water source and starting a fire would be pretty high up on my 'to do' list

Leaving after a few days is pretty poor form in my book, moreso given the fact that someone else could have gone in said person's place. Or maybe I'm reading into this a little too much.

This.

I'd be mightily miffed if I had gone out in the last round of auditions and see 3 people wanting to go home in the first show.

Bring back Shipwrecked on T4 Sunday mornings.
Didn't have to pretend to be about modern life or survival or any other ste.
It was what it was:
fit young people on a beach, shagging, drinking and arguing.

Any chance of an episode where a wussbag doesn't cry their way off the island please.

Trailer for tomorrow's wimmin's island episode looked good, looked a bit grim for whoever it was that collapsed!

I couldn't agree more!

They've obviously been to all manner of interviews and screenings, and really should know what on earth they're letting themselves in for.

I can't believe that guys are jacking it in after 4 or so days, I could never hold my head up again.
