Master Cylinder pipe connections
Discussion
Hi All
I have bought a duel circuit master cylinder intended to fit a Series 3 88 but wish to use it on a different car.
It has a 3/8 connection and a 7/16. I'm assuming it's done this way so that the pipes can't be fitted the wrong way round.
My question is; which is front and which goes to the rear brakes ?
Many thanks in anticipation

If I caused offence then I apologise.
But non-ABS cars require the front wheels to lock before the rears.
If rears lock first then the car spins.
Please, please, no guesses. I need to get this right for my IVA re-test.
I need answers like; "mines piped like this. (see photo)" please
Cheers,

I have changed the pipes to the configuration suggested and this afternoon trailered the car to the local MOT garage to use their brake rollers. 100% success.
I now feel confident about passing the IVA test.
Thanks for the help,
Paul G
Edit to add: IVA passed 28th April
