Starting to like our manager a little more now.
As for Sterling...not for me, not sure he'd improve the squad certainly not in the areas we need to strengthen. I wouldn't play him ahead of Di Maria, that's for sure.

He's a winner LVG, and a bloody funny one. A few beers and poor English aside it was a great speech and leaves me chomping at the bit for next season. Takes quite a man to follow Fergie and he seems well up for the job. We've collected more points against next seasons probable title contenders than said contenders and I doubt he'll be surprised by the likes of Leicester or Swansea again.
Agreed on Sterling. No thanks. He's Nani with an even higher opinion of himself.

4 years would be asking a lot. As I say, he looks like he's in his final couple of years.

Think he has a short contract as well, numbers being touted are 10-15m. We need strength in depth and I'd take him for a decent price all day long.

Got one year left I think and we can pay a lot more in wages than he'll get at Bayern, plus he's already played for LVG. To stretch the bks still further one article I read today claimed he's visited Manchester under his own steam for a look round! Also had quite a lot injuries in the past few years...
