The mid 30's sales rep bellend in his Audi A4 that pulled up behind me at the petrol station at Sainsury's this afternoon, exited his car and shouted "why ain't ya pulled ya car inta da empty pump in front ya caaaaaaant"
I told him to go and ask the people at the till if he could see their CCTV footage as that way he'd have found that when I pulled up 30 seconds previously there was a Toyota Aygo at the pump in question, and I'd just pulled up at the empty pump behind and started filling my car.
Pretentious prick called me a sthead, jumped back in his car and moved to another pump. Ironically it was a pump that was already empty when he first arrived and he could have easily pulled up at to begin with rather than "waiting" behind me

Back in the old Knob thread I was working in Norwich and a chap threw his McRubbish out of his window at a set of traffic lights. I picked it up, opened his rear door and as I threw it all over the interior of his car said...
"Excuse me mate you dropped this".
...shut the door, got back on my bike and carried on my way.

What you describe is a regular occurance in the typical '2 lanes into 1' scenario.
Clearly, you don't understand a zip.
This is one of my local moron-spots.
So many idiots keep left but go straight over, despite a huge sign before hand.
Sometimes they go over the chevrons, but others just straight-line the whole thing, forcing people in the correct straight ahead lane to avoid them.
And...this isn't in any way a merger, or pretending to be a merger.

Thats pretty clear to me, any driver in the left lane who does not go left is a moron.So many idiots keep left but go straight over, despite a huge sign before hand.

it looks like the roundabout has been changed from both lanes straight on though? if so, its probably locals who have always done it and always will.
Its a three way RAB, that was a junction and that far exit is single lane. (Below)
Most locals like me, know what lane straight over, and only use it.
Entry from the other direction (same picture above) is a classic dual in RAB with no lane markings (no lane priority).
Exit is dual lane again (heading back the other way), with the right lane still allowing people to go straight.
After this it does all go st-shaped as we have a 4 way motorway/traffic light junction, and a merger to one lane afterwards.
In the rush hour, that entire left lane is solid back past the RAB and people coming from the right (the original left), cannot get into the left lane as they exit the roundabout, to pull left onto the motorway. So both exit lanes stop dead very often, whilst people wait for someone to let them in.

For example, the Kent Hop Farm RAB - a very common scenario with dual carriageway one side and a single exit the opposite side of the main drag.
There are no in lane markings, so the right hand lane is NOT pushing in, should drivers in it, wish to go straight on (as people have quoted under the highway code).
The RAB exit is single lane, so it pretty obvious, that people have to filter (which they do, subject to the odd moron in either lane)
But the fact remains, that you cannot apply a blanket 'people in the RH lane are pushing in' rule here.

Just about to head down to Eng-ger-land. Normally and mostly a pleasant journey, but since I'll be in contact with so many different drivers, it might be time for a bit of knob bingo
- Some knob will be behind me fairly close on a DC/Motorway, I'll move over maintaining speed or reduce it slightly, and knob will piss about on my rear 3/4 forcing me to either brake or boot it to avoid hitting the approaching car in front.
- Some knob(s) will be racing
- Some knob will accelerate while I overtake them (despite never exceeding 50mph for miles before).
- During a single to dual carriageway transition, some knob will immediately move to the outside lane, holding there for a few moment wondering what they should do next, before realising that they need to speed up which they do so at a pace that would embarrass the RMS Titanic.
- Alternatively, some knob who was previously going <50mph on a clear single carriageway will accelerate to 80+mph, then drop back to sub 50 on the single carriageway.
- At least two of these knobs will be a driver of a premium car
