On way back from Burghley and picked up a 5p size starred crack high up on passengers side. Looks like it could spread quite easily, has anyone tried a repair kit from Halfords ?? Or do I start trying to find a new screen.

If it's as big as you say, I would get a new screen fitted through your insurance, only use one of the specialists though

I think Autoglass and the like will mend stone chips up to pound coin size for free if your insurer covers that. Auto glass will know from the reg no. 0800 36 36 36 still works to get hold of them, I believe

Can you still get windscreens with the TVR logo?

Mine has a chip right in front of my eyes which I am sure will necessitate replacement.

I have just had my screen replaced by Central TVR, it has the logo and was a perfect job smile

Got a chip that has started to crack very slightly at the edge so bought a Laser windscreen chip repair kit from Screwfix (£17.99). So today I used it and filled the chip. Time will tell I suppose.
