Hi all, intending to go to the 50th weekend with the lad as it's his birthday weekend treat. Just wondering where people are intending to stop hotel wise so I can join up. Given his age (13) we wont be stopping for the dinner dance thingy in the evening but will be heading back to the hotel for scoffs. Just wondering where the majority of you will be for a beer or two at the bar later? Cheers.

I have a dilemma. The Mrs says she will only go if I book a 4/5 star hotel and pay for her hair do. She says, otherwise she'll hide the TVR keys somewhere hard to find. Do you think I should:-

A. Give into her demands.
B. Hide her car keys until she returns mine.
C. Sing her the Elvis song 'Separate Ways'.
D. Tell her I've booked a 5 star hotel and pitch a tent next to Mark's on arrival.

Alternative sugestions to solve this dilemma considered.

Well she's got to give you the keys for the BBWF so just make sure you keep them safe after that. There's no point having her hair done as it will only get messed up with the roof down on the way home. Maybe a nice hat as an alternative??

Gents, TVR-CC now not taking bookings for accommodation as their allocation is full. Holiday Inn Express is completely full so you can't book direct. I've just booked direct at the Park Inn - £71.20 advance payment plus £10 breakfast. Parking at the weekend is complimentary. As of 2.15pm today they have 51 assorted room available. Book early to avoid disappointment!

Hi I live in Woburn Sands only a couple of miles from Milbrook there are some good b n b's in the area, The Old Stables guest house, The Fir Tree pub and The station for example also have a look at Woburn but a bit more expensive.
There's plenty in the area as they have to cater for the Wildlife Park.

..... and be grateful she is supportive !

6yrs TVR ownership & Mrs D has been in it 3 times only. As a 50th presents to me, she has committed 6 days tour of Italy but needed to go 5* & Michelin tea's all the way. Wish me luck !
