Did not know new model was coming out, think this the reason for the low price ?

I was under impression 330D auto came with Padals???
My BMW car dealer told me in May they will get official release information and by end of Juli i can order the new model so add another 8 weeks or so to it for delivery. Not very far really.
The discount is most likely due to the update, i also got the automatic sport gearbox and navigation for half price, on top of that the whole advantage package came for "free". Thats allot of stuff they give you.
Maybe some will be available even after the new release but no one can guarantee that.
I'm holding off my purchase due to this whole N47 timing chain issue that i read so much about. I dont want my engine to break whenever.

Get adaptive. Essential IMO.
Only if he's going X drive otherwise he has M sport suspension proper out of the box.

I agree that adaptive is less important if you're going for a RWD M-Sport; however, I think it's still nice to have as it makes the low speed ride a bit better (especially if you've got the optional 19" wheels). The cost of adaptive is peanuts in the context of the total cost of a new 330d so perhaps a touch short-sighted to spec a factory order without it?

It's a very good price and monthlies - not worth hanging on for LCI IMHO.

The LCI brings amongst other things the new 2l lump and new led design for the DRLs and rear Lights. As far as I can see the 3l lump remains unchanged.

Adaptive is essential or budget for ac shnitzer springs - standard suspension wobbles and floats.
Auto dimming wing mirror are highly desirable - I didn't specify and ended up retrofitting them because I wanted dip to kerb.
M sport package is also highly desirable and very good value plus it doesn't put the monthlies up by much.
Visibility package is desirable - the high beam assist is witchcraft!

The rest is up to you! I managed to add about £7k worth of extrasand could have still gone for the merino leath seats and dash for another 2k!

Dimmable and reversing (drops to kerb) is very useful as is folding.

It's a nice extra for not much more do it.

Thanks for continued advice I have learnt a lot
Have got new quote on your advice.
White
Red leather
Sports pack (£1900)
Heated fronts
Electric windmirriors

£5000 deposit
£333 per month for 47 months
GV £14,700

What do you guys think on this ?
I am taking one for a test drive in Saturday but not sure what to expect if they will yet push me into a deal etc

One question
So is the drop to curb a additional extra on top of electric mirrors?!

Thanks

Is that the M Sport plus pack for £1900?
If you add the visibility pack to that it only costs about £200 more not the full £900

I had a better deal on the F31 335d with more options incl pano roof. gFV was higher and monthlies roughly similar.

If the Sport pack you're referring to is the M Sport plus pack (xenons, HK sound, 19s, Brakes, sun protection glass) if you add the Visibility Pack (adaptive lights and high beam assist) only costs you £215 not £925. You can see it on the configurator

I've had my 330d F31 18 months now. Glad I went for the Xenon/Adaptive/High-Beam-Assist package {S0ZVI 'Visibility'}. As mentioned, this is magic and great on winter cross-country drives. The rear camera is extremely useful {S0ZAP 'Advanced Parking'} and not just a gimmick and on the Touring, you do need this parking radar package. I would always recommend the sunroof {S0482 'Panoramic Glass Sunroof'} as it transforms the interior and makes it much brighter.

On a minor note, BMW do a neat rechargeable torch {63 310 432 670 'Rechargeable LED torch'} which I keep plugged into the rear passenger centre console lighter socket. There's also a hidden socket above the passenger's right knee (at least on my model).

Here's the interior, which is {FLCDF 'Venetian Beige Dakota Leather'} and {S04AB 'Burr Walnut Wood Trim'} - not everyone's cup of tea, I'm sure, but a welcome change from my previous Audi's all-black with piano-black and black leather:

Had a quote from. Actual
Dealer ship, not sure exactly how they got my number but it was way more than the online price n they said they coukd no way compete with it,

Have a test drive and meeting Sunday with a larger dealership, wondering if these will match it or is it the norm for the dealerships to be more pricey

They will match and beat.

Especially if they need to meet their numbers for the quarter or year.

The quarter end bonuses are based on delivered cars, so OP would need to be ordering now if he wants to hit a q2 delivery. Which is probably why he's got a good deal on the face of it.

So orders closed in April for q2.... Really.

It's more orders received

Diasagree. Still worth having, albeit not as marked improvement as on the 5 series (but a fraction of the price).
