Hi all,

I was having a poke around under my car just now and noticed the nearside rear anti-roll bar drop link appears to be sitting at a bit of an odd angle. The other side is straight-on but this one is at an angle, see photo below.

I'm presuming this isn't normal.. What could cause this? Would it cause an occasional dull thunk/clonk over rough surfaces and when reversing and coming to a stop or is this just characteristically noisy mk4 Mondeo suspension?

Perhaps it just needs adjusting - I can see a hex end to the shaft at the top where presumably you hold it with a spanner whilst tightening the top retaining nut.

Thank you!

If you jack a car up the arb link will hang at that angle.

It's not jacked up, it's sitting on level ground.

Does the ARB link turn freely at the roll bar end?
