Fitting tow bar electrics on MY12 RRS

I bought a tow bar and the genuine electrics wiring kit, and thought I'd try to fit it myself. I found step by step guides on the web, however when I got the side panel off and looked at the wiring, it was totally different to the pictures/explanations in those guides. It seems that the MY12 RRS has a different wiring setup to earlier versions. I found the three sockets needed, but they were all tightly bound and twisted in with the main wiring harness, so I couldnt separate the three sockets to feed them through the rear light hole to connect to the tow bar plugs.

Anyone got any photos or guide as to what I'm meant to do here?
