How much more powerful is it than the turboprops fitted to Snoopy as std? (i guess the answer is "a LOT" ;-)

Just remembered that when I was on my Met observer course at the Met Office in Exeter, they have a 'barbers pole' on display in the main entrance.
Not sure if there would have been more than one 'barbers pole' made.
I'm pretty sure when we 'de-modded' Snoopy, the probe was cut up and scrapped along with most of the other radomes and protuberances that came off it.Not sure if there would have been more than one 'barbers pole' made.
If the nose had been cut off and saved it would have been a pretty much standard C-130 nose.
It's still a sad sight to see it go, I did 2 major servicings on it, and then after a bout of storage participated in the conversion of it to a flying test bed.
One funny story that springs to mind was after it had been repainted after one major servicing and pulled out of the paint shop into the main hangar, it was noticed that who ever ordered the stencils for the big chicken motif of the Meteorological Research flight on the fin couldn't spell Meteorological! Cue a hasty scaffolding tower, new stencils and a repaint at considerable expense!

Here's a link to a picture of it on display in Exeter.http://s283.photobucket.com/user/metman_photos/med...
Can someone supply me with a copy of the photo of XV208 in its role as the TP400 engine test bed? I need a digital version that is big enough for publishing - ie at least 1MB, to illustrate an article I've written on the 'three lives of 'Snoopy'. A print that I could scan would be fine. All help would be acknowledged. Please contact me at; tony.fairbairn@btinternet.com.
