Smacked alloy, buckled and scraped, fixable?
Discussion
I've got some lightweight alloy wheels on my daily driver Type-R, unfortunately their lightness makes them pretty fragile, any reasonable pothole is almost guaranteed to mildly buckle the wheel.
Unfortunately I hit a massive one at the side of the road whilst overtaking someone yesterday, knew it was damaged when I felt it but wasn't until I got out that I realised how bad it was. Tyre didn't burst, but had a big gouge in it down to the cord.
Anyway, here's the photos (click for larger):
These wheels were custom made for the car in the correct offset by SSR, so are effectively irreplaceable.
Anyone with previous experience of getting their wheels refurbed care to comment on whether you think it's fixable?

Where are you based in the country?
Anything can be fixed. I would worry about metal fatigue, especially if it has been fixed before, and sudden failure at high speed. The repairer should be able to advise.

Am going to see Platinum Alloys (formally Lepsons I think?) tomorrow, they seem to be well regarded.
I used these guys, it's abit of a trek from bath but they are very good.

Sorry, don't know anyone down your way. I used both BJV Engineering in Bucks which is closer than Lepson in Gillingham, Kent, and I can recommend both.Am going to see Platinum Alloys (formally Lepsons I think?) tomorrow, they seem to be well regarded.
