Very tidy 400SE up for sale, nothing to do with me though. I know it's someone off here as I have seen a number of shots of it on the forum and had garage envy every time I've seen it! Shame you are moving it on but good news for anyone looking for a stunning looking Wedge.

I'm sure I've seen it advertised before, perhaps last year. It does look good and the after market seats, wheels and dash have all been made to fit well. Seems a lot of money has been spent on mechanics etc. A real bargain for someone hunting for a 400SE in todays classic car market climate. Cool looking car.

I remember it well...There it be next to the Gredge...I very nearly bought it...Kind of wishing i had..There was documented work carried out on it and the work was done to a high standard...At the time i thought it was just too good to sit outside under a cover like Delilah....And now like Poppy...

The 400 is mine. I did try and sell it last year but it decided as soon as I said it had to go that it would not rev over 3000rpm, typical!!

I have been on and off with the car for a while, mainly because it never gets used. So I decided to have it sorted to 110% and a week later as soon as the work started bought whats below. In for a penny in for a pound I pushed forward and £5500 later I got it back. Its now returned to the garage covered over and may possibly do another 25 miles this year. Thus I thought I would put it on ebay and give it a go. Have to say though I am not giving it away. Prices are on the up and its now a magnificent purchase for anyone who wants one but.....if not then it will stay where it is. Lets face it, its not going to go down any more is it!! Happy days

Only downside is ebay....And its the same questions...Whats your best price for cash MATE!! As if cash is magic and would get a better deal than trading chickens or camels.

Would you PX a Vauxhall corsa!!! 125,000 miles 22 owners!!!

£11,995......Would you take £5k!!!

Well I guess this is the problem. The wedge is a 1980's supercar. It drives and goes like its 26 years old.

The V8 Vet sounds better.....Yes it does....Goes better, rides better and has a better stereo!!!

None the less the wedge is a piece of history and I love it for that. Will the Vet be as durable in 26 years or wear time as well. Probably not. Each to thier own

Yep, not sure which i am more envious of; the garage or the Vette.

Nice 400 by way and in my opinion surely has to be worth that kind of money.

Haha. No the vette does not spit all over the garage door on startup.

Problem was the ecu.

Nice Vette and in the best colour. Proper muscle car and I love them. It's being left hand drive that puts me off a little. How do you cope with the overtaking? I know it has enough power but visibility worries me as I don't rely on passengers judgement. Is it manual?

Cheers Andy - how was the ECU fixed - a resolder job or a replacement?

I kinda wish i had bought it when i had the money..My 350i is a good girl but i would of liked a few more horses......

The latest Corvette with right hand drive, added rawness and different badges should be the new TVR.

We are in the process of moving house and in true house move style we are stretching ourselves

In a nut shell I may need the money for the house move pot......so purely self inflected pain grrr

I'm trying to see if a few things can be shuffled around next week meaning she can stay (the car not the wife lol)

The crazy thing is I've been on the look out for a SEAC for months.......but with nothing and not a sniff of any on the market I thought "hey wifey" lets move house and invest our hard earned.......go figure banghead

The cost of the house move is no doubt way more than the cost of a SEAC and some change! Hope it all comes together and you stay in the Wedge community. Cheers.
