Hi guys.

Missus decided to ram into a curb @ 50mph the other day and my wheel came up looking worst for wear! I'm considering either a refurb or just getting a new wheel; there's about an £80 difference.

One thing I'm worried about is the match to anthracite, does anyone have experience with this? Also, looking for recommedations of places within Essex. Here's the damage...

Unfortunately I cannot comment on the anthracite colour match but I have used two companies in Essex.
One is wheelworx http://www.wheelworxrefinishing.com I used these guys for doing my Porsche wheels.
The other is rim renov8 http://rim-renov8.co.uk I got these guys to do the daily BMW wheels.

I think, after dealing with both companies that you may be better served by wheel worx. They seemed to have far more colour choices and they used paint as opposed to powder coating.

Lepsons in Gillingham Kent can match colour, they collect & deliver currently for free. Or they'll store the car while the wheels are being refurbed

Forgot I made this thread! Thanks for the information guys... most people seem to be recommending I just get a new wheel as the match will never be perfect, I'll have a little think smile

I know this a well over a month old but i cant reccomend "inspraytion" in strood enough.

Had similar damage to yourself with the same worry over colour match.

It cost me £30 all in and the guy done a top job of colour matching, really couldnt tell which wheel he repaired if you were to mix them up

Have you got a contact for discount for £30 per wheel? The website list £60 per wheel and I need just 2 wheels done. Cheers in advance.
