Can I send itineraries to my bmw?

I'm taking my M5 up to the Scottish Highlands for a week and have spent a lot of time mapping out some great itineraries on tyretotravel. I can send them to my tomtom and use that but is it possible to send the tomtom files to the m5's satnav? My car has bmw apps interface, internet 2012 car and i have a login and password for bmw connected drive.

I'd rather not have a tomtom plugged in if i can send the files to the car's satnav.

In Tyretotravel there is an option to view the route on google maps.
I believe to send a map to your BMW you have to log in to a google maps page and design the route and send it to the car, right?

So, log in to this page and then copy and paste the google maps link from tyretotravel, this should then show you the route and you can then send it to the car.

FYI - i have not done this myself, but i use Tyre and i have friends who have asked for the google maps link for a route and then have sent it to their BMW nav this way.
