Here is an alternative parts list

As you say it is from a Lada, but a word of warning, I remember reading that they may have been modified, to allow more articulation, so if you can get hold of some check that the move the same.

I`m going to order some Lada one`s tomorrow if the price is right, if I don`t think they will work I will return them.I`m changing the front wishbones, think I was a bit of a fool thinking the old ball joints would just fall out, they are not budging, even broke my vice rolleyes

As mentioned above non Oem may look the same and fit but different articulation will wear them out very quickly. I am just about to replace mine that I bought 4k miles ago from a TVR specialist and I will buy the ones in the link above

Was going to go with Racetec ones but I Cgot the old ones off after all & they seemed in good shape, so they have gone back on. Just kidding about the Lada bits wink

If I remember correctly, the shaft had two points that appeared to have been ground down, just thinking aloud here when fitting could the ball twist, so the shaft cut aways are in the wrong position to allow for the extra movement?

I bought the TVR Parts ones, they weren't expensive and at least I know they're correct.

Agree - you've got to buy the proper TVR spec lowers. The cheap/aftermarket ones are difficult to fit due to lack of articulation and that in turns puts a big stress onto the joint causing sudden failure. Best not to mess with quality on something as crucial as this. Just think about your suspension coming apart on a fast corner

^^^^ Get the proper lower ball joints, they are machined to fit. Don't skimp on such an important part.
TVR Power, next day delivery.

I'm just about to get some upper ball joints but noticed TVR Power do a kit with upper, lower and bolts for not much more so it might be worth doing the lot at once.
