As title, I always have good intentions when I set off, but never find what I'm looking for!

Live in Huddersfield, and me and the Mrs want a day out in the car, with somewhere nice for lunch - I'm thinking country pub like

I'm sure there are 100s, but can't anyone recommend personal favourites?

I love the Red Lion at Burnsall
Perfect after a drive round Settle, Hawes, Buttertubs, Leyburn etc
On the bank of the Wharfe to so the view is great.

Also Tan Hill, highest pub in England, is worth visiting.

I got married at the Red Lion and it's an awesome place to go. Food is amazing. I highly recommend the Portobello Mushroom and the Beef Wellington!
