XKR 75

Evening Ladies/Gents,
Anyone have/had one of these? One for sale near me now with 18k on a 60 plate and would like opinions on the ride please?

Hi, Jeff. I have one, and I think it's an excellent choice. There are only 20 RHD 75s, so it's a rare model. It's a sort-of halfway house between an XKR and an XKR-S. It has the same suspension & aero mods as the Dynamic Pack, plus the Performance Active Exhaust, but it has more horsepower (530 PS) and mine tops out at 184 mph on GPS. So the only things it lacks vs. the R-S is 20 PS and the R-S bodykit, which only adds 1% downforce and IMHO doesn't look as good. Here's an article I wrote for the JEC magazine about it:

Oh, regarding the ride: it's firmer than the standard XKR, but not tooth-rattling. That's one of the reasons I chose it instead of a Nissan GT-R, which is a mighty beast but hard to live with on London streets.

Thanks for the replies^^^, I missed it, was sold the day after I enquired about it. Looks great though so will keep my eye open for another. Meanwhile I'm p/exing for a newer XK on Monday before we head to Spain on our latest road trip Claret 5.0 Portfolio
