Any idea what they are for? Look like roadworks camera's eg 50 limit ones but there is no 50 limit in place at the moment and no signs that they aren't on eg do they work and are monitoring a 70 limit eek

New generation of quick to install average speed cameras
Linked by radio system no cableing required only power supply which can be battery pack.
A34 also has you down to 40mph at one point with these cameras.
Monitoring from remote box or if close enough at works compound. CAT6 cable for longer distances
Normal NIP system applies.

The ones on the A34 are routinely being ignored by some drivers, crazy to assume they don't work.

The camera's on the yellow poles between Jct's 11 and 12 are there for when they start road works within the next couple of weeks, road speed will be reduced to 50. Not yet active hence no signs.

Fairly sure I saw these a couple of weeks ago with a "Camera Not In Use" sign just before them.
