So I'm just about to begin the process of registering my car in the UK.

Quick question: do I need to do anything with the rear fog light ? I've changed the digital speedo to MPH and headlights for RH traffic (all electronic via the cars's settings). If I understand right, the only thing left to check/switch is the rear fog light ?

Any help/guidance would be appreciated. It is a new car so I guess no need for MOT/etc.

Thanks!

I am in the process of doing the reverse import - importing FROM the UK into EUROPE. On the Porsche 991 Rear Fog Light, I need to change the single Bright Fog lamp from the current Right Hand side (for the UK) to the Left Hand side (for Europe).

How did you manage to do the change ??

Car is a 2014 991 3.4.
I have taken out both sets or rear light clusters - and they are sealed units. No apparent way to switch bulbs or wires. Am puzzled on how to switch the fog lamp from Right to Left and cannot find any answers via the regular forums. Not sure if this change needs to be re-programmed using PIWIS or if not - exactly what is the short-cut or workaround.

Thanks for your insights.

Yup. On the 991 you can’t just swap over the PCB like on the 997.

I had to buy new rear lights.

Thanks for your rapid reply. Understood.

So - I am now in the market for a left rear light cluster for a 991.1. Any suggestions to source one cheaply?

Alternative available to me here is just to add a cheap Fog light and wiring just for the homologation test and then remove once passed.

Yup. I guess that is an option too.

Just need a Euro spec rear tail light.
