Only 2 weeks to go. Who's going in what cars?

I'll be there in my Sabre with a For Sale sign on so if anyone is looking for THE best kit car, you know where to come

Bah, my annual pilgramage to Stoneleigh was normally the shakedown trip after some major modification or other (like a complete engine overhaul, or fitting a supercharger, or swapping the gearbox for a 5 speed etc etc.). Take a bag of zip-ties and spanners, it will be fine!

Forgot to add, I'm planning to be there on Sunday.

I'm bang alongside that attitude.

The UVA has 200 miles on it and will probably have 300 or so when I set off for Stoneleigh.

Even that is luxury compared to my last car, a GTM Coupe, when Newcastle to Stoneleigh was literally its maiden voyage.

Well, we are back in the UK after a lengthy sojourn in Italy of many months on Wednesday and I have got to try and get my 2014 SVA Quantum H4 RS Turbo out of winter lay up and running as it should and off to Stoneleigh! Hopefully for both days!

I finished the Quantum last year and as ever with my finished kit cars the Quantum is up for sale. I am now finishing a rescued Banham Sprint kit with several other projects pressing for attention and I will be happy to show anyone at Stoneleigh my Quantum car! It really is a rocket!

I am looking forward to see how the kit car world is developing this year and hopefully view some of the latest offerrings from the manufacturers. Doubtless there will be some and I have great hopes for the new season!

Best of luck to all the exhibitors: let's hope the weather holds!!

The big one, and it's nearly here, how exciting, I will be there of course. On show will be our new version of Replicar now with opening doors and boot, we will also have our new Field Master which is a jacked up version of the XS. Also our brand new Exocet MK2 will be launched, AND, gasp for air, our prototype Coupe with gull wing doors will be on show. Hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy the show.

Good to hear all the news from MEV, Stuart progress once again! Excellent news for all kit car builders your products are certainly in the first line of kit car manufacturing. Good to see you have added doors to the Replicar and an opening boot, which is just as it should be. Makes the cars so much more useable and easy to enter and exit which matters at my age. Secure boot is always good news in a ragtop! Excellent work!

I am really looking forward to seeing all your new ideas and models. I only wish I had half your energy!

Is it busiest on any particular day? It is quite a trek for me and it will probably only be practical to go for one day but don't want to pick the Monday if that's the day everyone packs up and heads home at lunchtime etc

Yes it's always busier on one of the two days. The problem is knowing which one.

It seems to be weather dependent.

If you are travelling for one day only, you are better off going on Sunday.

Lots of people leave early on Monday
