I have a 350SE with 5 spoke oz rims on it (from the factory), would love to make them look the nuts but i use the car. The idea is, get a spare, refurb 1 at a time. all wheels are the same not like the 400SE. Have i got a full set of front 400se wheels?????. ideas???

Jim,

You stand the chance of ending up with four shades of grey.

Why don't you find another set, have them refurbished together, probably saving you money. Then sell the set on the car to recoup some of the cost?

You're also saving yourself the cost of multiple trips to the wheel refurb co'!

There are companies out there that will do a complete refub in a day. A place near me (Hereford), even remove, refit and balance the tyres, and he used to own a TVR. owner.

Yes, there's one in Birmingham who do the whole thing in and out in a day.

If the process is diamond cutting, I doubt you'll find a company that'll do it in a day. More like a week. If the required refurb is paint then there are many that will do it in a day. There are even some that will come round and refurbish them at your premisses.

Also you will need to find the right replacement bolts if you want to be authentic !!!!

The split rimes on a wedge are expensive to refurb.

I paid £175 a wheel many years ago.

Even the 2 different non-standard sized tools required for these rims?
