So Bobby K has pulled out this morning

http://www.wrc.com/en/wrc/news/april-2015/kubica-w...

What do we think the real reason is behind this then?

Ogier and Meeke quickest in shakedown. Infact both citroens look handy, anyone know if they have brought and upgrade?

I think most cars have received some upgrade during this break. Not sure exactly what to who, but the Citroen has had cosmetic upgrades to the front and arches. Looks more flares around the headlights.

Well as its been 6 weeks since Mexico I am really looking forward to this one! Bad weather in the area has made the stages extra rough (Causing the longest stage to be shortened), but it should be quite a challenge.

Ogier will still win though!

I would say both, M-sport are probably owed a bit of money for parts..

such a shame for Ogier laugh, Perhaps I need to predict the VW Sweep every round wink
Although I bet he will somehow find the engine issue related to him running first on the road rolleyes

cracking stage 2 by Paddon it seems
WRC Website said:
Hayden Paddon finished with broken engine mounts, a suspected broken driveshaft and a holed turbo pipe. And the Kiwi was still fifth quickest!
Meeke drove the closing part of SS3 with a puncture and dropped time to JML to just 15.3s

M-Sport duo Evans & Tanak keeping it clean and tidy in 4th & 5th

SS4 gets under way in just under an hour (if you open the wrc radio browser it has the local time displayed in there, so handy to know stage start times)

Tanak rips a wheel off in a water splash. He must really hate the wet stuff right now!

I know the fiesta has chocolate suspension parts, but there must have been an issue prior to the watersplash, or was he just "going big" through it!?

after the TITanak incident im sure he'd be happy not to see any more water sections in a stage for a very long time!

Impressive to get through the stage at all considering the list of damage! Engine mounts broke 3km into the stage which probably caused the rest - broken gearbox mount, no oil left in the gearbox, broken driveshaft, broken exhaust manifold, exhaust system almost falling off completely...

Glad its not my car. paperbag

Seems there are a few proper stages in this rally, testing both machine and driver. Sounds like a Safari rally smile
