Hello! Long story short, 3 friends and I are taking part in a 24hr event at the Solvalla race track at the end of June. We arrive in Sweden on 25th June and fly out on Monday 29th - can anyone recommend a reasonably price hotel in the area? any help would be much appreciated!

Nothing is reasonably priced...

I used to stay in Hilton at Slussen. Lovely spot, cracking outside terrace bar over looking the water. Handy walk down into the old town (Gamla Stan)

We stayed here http://www.birgerjarl.se/default-en.html when on a boy's weekend for my birthday a few years ago.

Just watch out for availability as your dates are close to Swedish midsummer which is one of the busiest holiday times.

Something a bit different? http://www.anedinhostel.com/start.aspx

Scandic Alvik is nice and fairly close. Only a few tube stops away from the city yet far enough not to command a massive premium. Solvalla is 18 minutes away by bus, or 10 by taxi.

I stayed in Motel L in the Sodra hammarbyhamen area and it was lovely. And cheap- about £50 a night.
