Have an F10 2015 Lux model. Voice control commands for simple things like names in my phone book or addresses for the nav are comical at times. Saying 'HOME' randomly picks numbers out of my phone book but never my home number. Is there anyway you can calibrate the voice input so it responds accurately or is it generally accepted the voice control is ste and I should only use it for its comedy value of picking random names/destinations just for laughs?

Good luck with that, possibly the most amusingly stupid system to come with a modern vehicle.

It'll keep you amused in traffic jams at least, try different accents too hehe

I got lucky with the nav when I got the car - it seemed to work. But I was just asking it to accept single place names rather than street addresses and the places I was asking for worked for it.

A few serious attempts to use it where I expected to work after that initial success were generally unsuccessful. I've never managed to enter a full street address.

It's not very good and I use the voice entry only very occasionally.

All in all I'm not very impressed with the nav system in general. Big screen wasted by something that misses out minor roads and chooses to only sporadically display street names when I use it as a moving map. And the nav system itself has turned out to be a bit hit or miss on minor routes - I don't really trust it - it's the only nav that I've had so far that has tried to lead me down a 'road' that was a farm track in such poor condition a 4wd would have had problems.

Meanwhile the free nav on my phone gives me speed limits and seems to know about minior roads.
