Little issue with my hood. I put the roof down yesterday and it appears it didn't fold the window perfectly so this morning I noticed that it now has a funny kink in it.

Makes it a little annoying to look out of! Anyone have any experience of this? Will it pull out with the tension and the hot weather? It seems better already to be honest. Is there any way I can 'help' it fold in the correct place?

I sometimes get these, the aftermarket ones are a bit thinner too.

Generally they pull out with the tension and it helps if hot.

Seems to have sorted itself... Bloody thing. Checked yesterday and it folded perfectly in the middle!

When opening or closing give it a little 'assistance' with your hand. Mine did that when I got it but it seems to behave now.

What did you use to polish your window btw?

Just plastic polish? Mines not bad, but anything to help with an extra bit of visibility!!

Autoglym Super Resin Polish and a polisher. Took 3-4 attempts if I remember correctly.

Clean it first with a damp cloth and remove any sandy and gritty parts that may be near the surface. Then apply polish liberally and clean with a cloth between each polishing attempt.
