is there any way to watch the mayweather fight without a sky subscription?
I have a communal dish at my apartment but after some research it seems you can't order any box office events unless you have an active sky subscription (minimum 12 months contract @ £14 a month for the cheapest package)
seems a tad excessive to spend £180 to watch one fight.
I have a friend with a sky box + subscription who is out of the country for the fight, wondering whether I could connect his box to my dish/phone line and order it that way or would it not work ?
any suggestions welcome? (can't stream it illegally as several of my friends will be coming over for the event and I don't want to ruin it for them due to a inconsistent stream)

Surely going out to a pub to watch it would be your best option?

now tv has confirmed they aren't making it available.

no one is officially broadcasting it on the internet and the illegal streams are always so temperamental and low quality

I think that would work if you have the sky connections/cables in your flat.

nice, when ordering a sky box office event do you know if it works from a different phone line than the one registered at the home address?

Why don't you give that a test run now?

We're probably going to find a bar, in London there's always somewhere open at that hour!

You can ring them up and tell them your phone is broke.
You will need the account password and stuff like that.

Is this definitely on Sky? A quick google doesn't bring up anything.
