After owning a '94 900 Turbo and an '89 900 T16, I've now bought a '96 9000 2.0 turbo CSE. I know very little about 9000's so was hoping someone might help shed a little light. Is it likely to be 150 or 175 bhp, or am way off the mark?

Depends if it's a lpt or fpt. Small t or big T on badge on back. There may be other giveaways too - boost gauge? Is it Garrett or Mitsubishi turbo? (That may just be aeros though...)

I think it's a Garrett turbo. No tailgate badges on it, and the V5 says Ecopower.
I suspect this means it's lpt...

I'm sure on the CSE's there were no FPT 2.0's so it would be 150BHP as standard.

You need to talk to Jules_HT on the UK Saabs forum.

The 9000 2.0t can be taken to approx 240bhp with a remap.
You will need a decent performance exhaust and better downpipe.

Or take it to approx 200bhp if you leave it just as is.
He will do a remap for not allot. Just a bit of cash and mail the ECU in the post.
