Hi,
Couple of bits i need clearing as I'm starting out buying & selling cars in the UK
So you have the logbook from the previous owner without the yellow traders section (as it was filled out and sent to DVLA when the vehicle was put into the traders possession) ....
You then sell the car to a new keeper and fill out the V5, send the V5 to DVLA & then fill out the green slip for the new keeper ...
Is this correct so far ?
What about if you buy/sell at auction or buy/sell to another trader, you won't have this yellow slip as it was filled out to when you (the trader) purchased the vehicle in from the previous keeper ....
How do you go about this ?
