Is it possible to get a 4 seater set for a couple of hundred that doesn't look naf?

Dont mind if its wood or metal, I think its the parasols that make the likes of the B&Q ones look cheap.

I'm still after one, worked my knackers off over the weekend to make my garden look nice. Was thinking of something like this and adding cushions and a parasol.

i'm looking for something too, and want to avoid anything that won't age well... a lot of outdoor stuff looks like it should be indoors to me, something wooden can be rejuvenated with a light sanding and a drop of oil.

that one looks nice.

I've got this one. Bought 18 months ago in their end-of-season sale for about £120.

For the price its okay, its a reasonable heavy/robust set. But it's not a quality teak - its eucalyptus which doesn't have the same hard wearing attributes. Beware; the instructions say to oil the set twice before even using it - yeah right - my time's too short/valuable for that. I do like the fact it folds up, so it lived in the shed over winter.

Being careful, I'll be happy if I get 4-5 summers use out of it and if it's ready for the bin; c'est la vie.
