Golf R bought from stock today!

Heard that a nearby dealer had a couple in stock for immediate delivery, headed down to look at them today and ended up swapping my 911 4s cabby for this rather loverly red R

Cheers - looking forward to collectng it on Weds, the test drive I took the demo car didn't really test the handling so I guess I'll get a chance to get to grips with that on Weds evening!

Yeah, it took me a while to work it out too.

At first, I thought it was "VW Life" - then I realised that if you make the plate illegal, you can make it spell Golf. So unless you want to get constantly pulled over...you're just left with a plate that has "VW" at the start of it. Or your name is Larry Fedrick Edmondson.

Ah, I was getting vw life too until I read your post.

Might be better suited to the e-Golf seeing as the R doesnt say Golf on it.

Cheers! I thought it looked great in red with those wheels but in an understated way. If I had been ordering and waiting I might have stuck on leather and the adaptive dampers but it was close enough to what I wanted and available for collection within 3 days so all good!

Saw this on the dealerships Facebook page and as a result I've now made it my mission to locate some reasonably priced 19" Prets for my Tornado R which I recently picked up. They look phenomenal.
