How long is your current commute? What sort of money are you being paid?

To put this into context I'm on £21k and commute around 80 minutes each way, five days a week, for an 8 hour work day.

So I assume your 12 hour shift doesn't include the travelling time?
Are you using your own car or a company vehicle......mileage allowance etc?

Depends on why you are applying for the role.

In itself it doesn't sound very attractive, but I guess there is a reason why you're considering it.

To answer the question, we need to know your current situation - is that tolerable?

Current job is very stressfull this one is relaxed
Sounds like you'll be swapping one kind of stress for another to me, but only you can make that call.

How realistic are those commute times. Are they on quiet motorways or London / the midlands? A 2 hour commute could easily turn into 3! Also what happens if it is 3 and you turn up an hour late? Are they flexible?
