Why do you want to change? Is that to simplify the engine bay and improve belt coverage on the crank pulley? That power steering pump is in an awful place to get at if it goes wrong…...

It's a manual rack with a corsa b epas and a proper steering ecu from Dc electronics ! Really want to ditch the power steering, yes that pump is pain to change plus I can get rid of the hydraulics

So where can I get a manual rack from ? Or can I reuse mine ?

I still don't understand.

You have all the above fitted but still want to go back to manual?

If you really do, just take all that off, fit a standard column and reuse the manual rack.

Can't say I understand if you need a new column or rack. If you have the Corsa electric steering then its the column you need to change.

And just to add a different opinion I love the manual rack in mine. Fair enough they can be a bit heavy parking and i was a bit worried when taking it to Cadwell a couple of weeks ago after hearing everyone saying they are useless on track (was contemplating a Subaru conversion this summer) but once i got out there it felt fantastic and I now realise I have no reason to want to get rid of it. I'm sure it would only be a problem if the car is running massive tyres but on my car it feels great smile

My 500 has PAS my wife's 430 has manual rack. I'll have the manual any day, the only time its a bit of an effort is obviously parking but gives much better feel on the road IMHO.
