Isn't the silver rendering showing side exit exhausts? I wonder if both will be an option or are they saying that the silver car is closer to the final specification? I didn't like it as much as the old car when I saw the Geneva pic's but it looks a lot better in these. Good luck to them

side exhausts are an option .. I suspect will cost at least £1500

I've just had a look at some pic's of this as I can't remember ever seeing it before. My god the front is a bit challenging isn't it!!
Absolutely, a very odd looking thing. I do remember it being comfortable though, we were wafted from Bergamo airport to Riva del Garda for the opera festival there in one a few years back. Lancia were very into crushed velour / velvety material on their seats at the time. 2.4 5-cyclinder diesel IIRC.

Looking at that I get this weird recollection of the Plymouth Prowler.
Thank you. I knew it reminded me of a badly done fake Hot Rod but couldn't remember the Prowler's name. What a shame that Morgan has lost their way and can't make up their minds what they build these days.
Know it is probably wrong to think this way but to me a Morgan is very British so knowing the Aero series rely on German BMW running gear puts me off, but not completely.

I thought of the Prowler too when looking at the pictures. Shame is that I think the Prowler had a much better defined front end than this Morgan.

So having the V6 from a Mustang in the Roadster doesn't count. And an American V-twin and MX5 gearbox in the Threewheeler is very British. Morgan use the running gear and that suits the car best.Know it is probably wrong to think this way but to me a Morgan is very British so knowing the Aero series rely on German BMW running gear puts me off, but not completely.

I did say I know it is wrong to think the way I do, it isn't rational, but if they had gone to Jaguar (even with the India link or US before that) and used their V8 I would have felt it better suited the car.andyps said:
