Hey guys, just showing my car.

Its a 2014 Suzuki Swift SZ-L.

It has a 1.2 4 Cylinder engine which produces 93Bhp.

(I paid for it myself)

I do love this car though, acceleration could be better but it definitely goes, also feels very solid when cornering, overall I just love it!

In a few years I hope to sell this and purchase a Nissan 350z (Favorite car) I'm mainly waiting due to insurance costs.

Yeah, its great fun to drive, especially when there are winding roads, I really do love the way it corners, I didnt think it would feel as stable as it does, but I suppose it is front wheel drive. But for a 1.2 you cant argue with it.

Nice Car! I work for Suzuki and they are really popular cars. Baffles me why anyone would choose a similar priced corsa/clio/fiesta! Although i may be a bit biased...

93bhp from a 1.2 NA is pretty decent, must be fairly good to rev out on a hoon!
Not a bad looking car either. I assume this is your first car? if so congrats, you'll love it like no other there after.

Yeah its a really sweet car, I was looking around others and they all seem overpriced for the same spec/tech that the Swift has, especially with the LE addition smile

I bought my wife a 5 door SZ3 as a wedding present in white, it's now 3 years old, never had any issues with it and its a cracking car to drive. She gets 40mpg every month without fail (even though it spends most of its time in 3rd gear) and its lived up to the mess her and my little lad make in it. Love the colour of yours, that wasn't available when we bought ours I don't think, also love the DRL's which again weren't available on the 12 plate one.

My only complaint with the handling is that it feels incredibly twitchy on the motorway, slightest touch of the steering and its darting about other than that its great to throw about.

Watch the door seals on yours, that's the only thing ours has been back for (twice), they seem to shrink and come away. Its now out of warranty and its happening again so just going to see if it ever leaks.

....may even trade it in for a Sport once the finance is paid smile

Enjoy!

This is the SZ-L which only 500 are made. (Its a model specific color, you can have this color or the cosmic black, the DRL are also only on this model I believe.)

I am currently getting 44.5MPG which I cant argue with!

The handling is very sensitive which makes it very fun in winding roads but on the motorway you have to keep a hand on the wheel!

I will keep in mind the door seals, thanks for that!

(I was looking at the 1.6 sport but the insurance was too much!)

I agree with the corsa/clio comment,, but the fiesta is a better product; I do work for ford though so maybe a little biased lol

I test drove a Fiesta and taking into consideration, cost, feel and looks, I do personally prefer the Swift :P (Especially because my version is Limited Edition.)

Don't get me wrong though, fiestas are lovely cars.

The colour combination (white roof and mirrors) isn't available on all models, only the SZ-L, (Boost Blue is also extra on other models) and yes you're right, the DRL is a new feature to the other models!

Fiesta is certainly a good car, especially the 1.0 ecoboost, main factor in favour of the swift is price i think, at the moment £10k is getting you a sz3 swift with satnav, alloys aircon etc! I assume a similar fiesta is slightly more? may be wrong!

Yes exactly, the Fiesta is a fine car, but the Swift seems to have a bit more 'bang for your buck' so to speak!

I just don't understand why someone has to come on here telling everyone that they paid for it their self.
