http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Holden-VXR8-Sup...

Parked up next to this today in my original VXR 500 - 2 very rare beasts together! - looks to be very tidy.

If I had the spare cash, I would have been sorely tempted.

(I must be getting old).

I agree, anyone paying 13k over value for the "Bathurst" badge would be mad.

But is it £13k over value? Good cars have gone for similar money in the past, and will again.

I think that white really shows off the shape well.

Way too expensive for a what is only a moderately powerful VXR8. Great way of losing a shed load of cash driving out of the showroom.

I'm with you on that - if someone really wants one ... the value is what someone will pay at the end of the day - we should all be pleased.

I think it's great that the value of our cars is not dropping like a stone. Especially those of us who have 'keepers'.

Marc is pretty good at gauging the market - he could have sold the Ute he recently had in many times over.

Keep those prices up Marc (and all you other sellers out there).

Ian

But if yours is a 'keeper' why do you want the value to stay high?

Surely it would be better for prices to hit rock bottom, then there's less chance of them being targeted by thieves - and you could buy another, just for parts? scratchchin
