Hi
I have a 2013 Exige S V6 in white, 5000 miles, with the KOMOTEC ex430 upgrade. It has the normal extras like race pack etc. I am planning to sell this spring. What is this worth now if I sell privately?

Thanks

Not an expert. Difficult call. Low 40's (41/43) Apparently they 'trade' at 38/42. Just an appraisal. Have you rung those that buy eg Will Blackham or John Seals (Johnnyboy)

I recently inquired about trading in my 2013 Exige V6, 4400 miles, race pack + most other extra's against a 2015 Exige V6 CR. Main dealer offers where £42,000

I was offered 42k for mine as a trade in, the dealer expects to sell at around 45K.

It as all the usual extras and 6k on the clock.

I would say the upgrade woundn't add any value.

How long as the upgrade been on the car and how many miles since the upgrade?

Why are you selling?

I had the first upgrade in the UK, Hangar 111 did it for me last Summer. Have done 3000 miles with the upgrade. Need garage space for GT3 RS 991.

There's usually a fair difference between trade in prices and actually buying a car off you. Quite often what the dealer would discount for a cash sale on a new car, they add onto a trade in price to make us punters feel happy wink

Re the upgrade, is the Lotus warranty still OK ? Also will dealers take a modified car back into its network ? Both these could influence price.

Either way, sound an epic car. Thought you were getting a GT4 btw ?

I have had the car into Lotus a couple of times in the last 6 months for warranty work, faulty brake sensors and other minor bits, they don't seemed fussed about it at all. The mechanics thought the drivability was greatly improved.

I got burned by Porsche on the GT4, but was lucky enough to get an GT3 RS order confirmed.
