Cool picture! Looks like the flame is even from both pipes too. What make is the back box?

MX5 Parts stainless back box, nothing fancy

The photo is a still from a video taken on the iPhone, using it's 'slo-mo' setting so at 120 frames a second you can grab some pretty good resolution images from it

Finally got round to fitting some of the parts I've had in the shed, working on the front:

Meister R's
Refurbed wishbones with SuperPro bushes and new upper/lower ball joints on the front.
Ultra Racing ARB
Alloy radiator
Thermostat and temp switch

Just waiting for the IL Motorsport endlinks and some nuts and bolts to arrive.

Need to get some brakes next.

"Grinding"? Clutches don't usually grind! Can you give more of a description?

Bringing the clutch up to near bite unleashes a grind. Only first/neutral.

Are you sure it's the clutch grinding? Can you feel it through the pedal?

Sorry for the late reply, but yes, through the pedal.

That suggests something in the clutch pedal / slave cylinder mechanism...

New alloys ordered last night.

Enkei RPF1 14x7 ET28

I am not going to rush to get these on, might even wait until next year now as I want to get them coated in G-Techniq C5 but I had the option of saving some money on them so decided to buy.

Need to decide what tyres to go with, probably going to stick with 185/60/14.

Looking forward to seeing these in the metal!

That's light! My Rotas are light at 5.1Kg but are heavy compared to those!
